Joy “June” Kromberg, 90, of Lincoln passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home on July 23, 2017. Born March 28, 1927 to Fern and Effie (Killian) Brown in Tulip, Indiana. She retired as a warehouse supervisor for ACE Hardware. She volunteered for many organizations including; Planned Parenthood, Friendship Home, Local Democratic Parties, N.O.W. (National Organization for Women) and was a supporter of the ERA (Equal Rights Amendment).
Survivors include her children, Patricia Kromberg; Jeff (Chris) Kromberg, Russ (Kristy) Kromberg, Norman Kromberg; grandchildren, Jennifer Krengel, Joshua and Justin Kromberg, Austin and Jamie Kromberg; great grandchildren, Adalynn and Emerson Krengel; brother, Larry (Carol) Brown; and her beloved cat, Jazz. Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tom; sister, Jenny Mae.
