Joshua Adam Arocho

Joshua Adam Arocho, 32, of Lincoln passed away on February 22, 2018. Joshua was born in Duneen Scotland on April 29, 1985 to William and Valarie (Bell) Arocho. He grew up in Geneva, Nebraska and graduated from Papillion-LaVista High School in 2003. While attending, he earned 2nd place at the Nebraska state wrestling meet his junior and senior years.

Joshua enjoyed all types of movies and music, but especially loved country music to swing dance with his mom and sister. He was full of excitement to watch any sport and loved the Huskers. One of his favorite things in life was his collection of Monopoly game boards. Joshua was active in MAMA fighting where he earned multiple titles. Joshua was an electrician with Nebraska Electrical Services. He was a United States Army and Nebraska National Guard veteran, serving in Iraq with his brothers of the 134th LRS unit.

He is survived by his children, Kaden, Halle, Brogan, and Emerie; his mother Valerie (William) Rush; his father William (Shirley) Arocho; sisters Laci (Chris) Rutherford, Ashley (Russ) Schoenbeck, AmaLynda (Sheldon) Olson, Desiree (Blake) Cossell, and Deborah Arocho; brothers William Nicholas (Kristen) Arocho and Liam Arocho; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Joshua loved his entire family and had the biggest heart. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone that needed it. The most important people to him were his children, they were his entire world.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Max and Lula Bell, Petrolina Diaz-Arocho, Juan Arocho; aunt Tami HorseChief and cousin Taylor HorseChief.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday February 27, 2018 at Roper & Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 40th & Yankee Hill. Cremation/no visitation.
