John E. Bennett, 63, Greenwood, NE died Thursday, 3/20/14 in Tecumseh, NE. Born 12/2/50 in Lincoln, NE to Burdette and Lavon (Dean) Bennett.
He was a Fuel truck Driver for Farmer’s CO-OP, mechanic for LT&T for 35 years prior to working at CO-OP. Member of Camp Creek Threshers, IH Tractor Club, car enthusiast, loved attending auctions, collected and restored antique tractors.
Family includes: daughters; Angela Bennett and Joe Kasuske, Ashland, NE, Kristy Jo and Shane Weddington, Lincoln, NE; granddaughters, Katelyn Bennett and Avery Weddington; father, Burdette Bennett, Lincoln; brother, Jeffery Joe Bennett, Lincoln; sister Tina Faye and Bryan Schwahn, Lincoln; Special friend, Judy Grantski.
Preceded in death by wife, Nancy, mother, Lavon.
