Obit idSubmit May 9, 2025 I met John during the first semester of the 2007-2008 school year when he was a UNL student assigned to be a practicum student in my U.S.History classes at Lincoln High School. I looked forward to seeing John each school day morning for that period of time and appreciated his positive, upbeat personality. Fast forward a number of years to the days when I’d go to Campbell’s garden center at 56th and Pine Lake Road and it would be a bonus if I saw John working there during my shopping trip. It was not until 2 days ago, on May 5th, that I learned John was ill. I returned to Campbell’s two days later (today) and learned that John had actually passed 8 days earlier. Such a sad shock. To John’s family, I am so terribly sorry for this loss of your loved one, who got to live only half of his expected lifetime. Absolutely every time I am at Campbell’s garden center, I will be thinking about John. I know he will be missed and loved every single moment. – Susan Pierce May 9, 2025 Doug and Ann, so sorry for your loss. I look back at all the fun junior golf and high school memories with John. The time spent at CCL golfing, swimming, and eating at the snack shack will always be fond memories I’ll cherish. RIP John. – Keth Malone Load more memories Obituaries & Services Search for: Search Funeral Service Brad Jones 1/11 Memorial Services Sandra J.
