Joan was married to Charles (Charlie) Uribe, who served in the U.S. Naval Reserve and was a retired bricklayer, for 70 years before Charlie passed in 2022. Joan and Charlie enjoyed years of traveling and spending time with family and friends. They were also avid football fans and watched the Huskers from seats that have been in the family for over 100 years. Joan was an outstanding homemaker too. From blue ribbons for her needle work, to cooking and master gardening, she excelled at all her passions.
Survived by her daughter Julie (Tom Rajkovich) Uribe of Lincoln, Nebraska, daughter Cindy (Dan) Feis of Cave Creek, Arizona, son Charles R. Uribe (Kathy) of Buckeye, Arizona, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
