Joan E. Bower, 73, of Lincoln, died Saturday (7-31-10). Born (12-1-36) in Lincoln, Nebraska to Roy and Helen (Bayless) Cloud. Ret. Waverly, Nebraska Postmaster, 30 years.Was a great mother to her three children.
Family members include sons: Gerald “Jerry” Bower; Brian Bower, both of Lincoln; brother, sister-in-law: James and Nancy Cloud, Wahoo; sister: Ellen Palser, Cheyenne, WY; 5 nieces, 3 nephews, special niece: Sue McCoy. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Gerald, daughter Christine Elaine Bower, sister Clara.
Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Friday (8-6-10) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street. Pastor Rich Vernon, officiating.
