I am saddened to hear of Jerry’s passing. As a co-owner of Lewis Greenscape at the time of his employment I can say it was an absolute joy to work with him. (Note: the business has been closed since November of 2018). I was aware of his moving to Missouri, years ago, but had lost track of him since, which I regret. The memories of working with Jerry are all good. He worked well with fellow employees and customers alike. He liked serving those around him. The best word to describe him is conscientious. I could always tell from what he said and did that family and God came first in his life and that’s the way it should be. He had his priorities right. I see that Jerry’s wife preceded him in death, his daughter’s both live somewhat distant from Grand Island and that his son Jason lives in Aurora. My son Jon lives is Aurora also. It’s not likely that I will be able to come to the funeral but I wish all of your family the best in the days to come.
