Jerome A. Biskup, 87, Lincoln, died Friday (6-19-09). Born (7-31-21) in Orleans, Nebraska the son of Valentine and Emma (Sebek) Biskup. Owner/Operator – Jerryco Motors, 27 years retiring in 1989. WWII U. S. Army and U. S. Army Air Corp Veteran. Served with General Patton, awarded two Purple Hearts and Cluster. Graduate of Lincoln School of Commerce. Member: Cathedral of the Risen Christ, American Legion Post 3, V.F.W. Post 131, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 7, World Champion Hydro Plane Racer 1956.
Family members include son: Gary Biskup, Lincoln; brothers, sisters-in-law: Justin Biskup and special friend Sandra Rippe, Lincoln, Francis and Rita Biskup, Bellevue, Mary Biskup, Kansas City; former daughter-in-law: Linda Biskup, Lincoln; 3 grandchildren, spouses: Jodi Biskup and Carlos Blanco, Lincoln, Toni and Jon Biskup-Daining, Baltimore, MD, Jerry Lee Biskup, Lincoln; 2 great grandchildren: Javier and Elena Blanco, Lincoln; nieces and nephews. Rosary: 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
Burial in Lincoln Memorial Park. Military graveside rites conducted by Nebraska Army National Guard Honors Team.
