Jeanne B. Carlton, 88, of Lincoln, passed away November 24, 2013. Born August 19, 1925, in Havelock, NE to Leland Howard and Esther Antionette (Hansen) Anderson. Homemaker. She was a member of the Havelock United Methodist Church and a 50-year member of Havelock Rebekah Lodge #150. Jeanne enjoyed playing cards, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Family members include her daughters, Marilyn Corbett, Windsor, CO, Sue (Mike) Smith, Centennial, CO and Marla (Gary) King, Raymond, NE; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Jacqueline (Dwain) Jones, Woodstock, IL; brother-in-law, Glenn Gordon, Colorado Springs, Co. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Maurice “Mo” Carlton; sisters, Joyce and Arlys; half-brother, Eric Anderson.
Committal Service: 9:30 am Saturday (12-14-13) Fairview Cemetery, 84th & Adams followed by Celebration of Life service at 11:00 am at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street with Pastor Don Meyer officiating.
