Jeanette V. Barber was a GODly person who loved the LORD with all of her heart.
She was born on May 30th, 1960 on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California. She was married to her husband Kirk L. Barber, whom she had known since she was seven years old. She was a loving, caring wife for over 48 years.
She had four children; April, Kirk Jr., Marie, and Kelly, whom she loved unconditionally. She had three grandchildren; Elijah, Kailynn, and one grandchild on the way. She loved each of them dearly.
She was a fun-loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, whether that was shopping, going out to eat, watching movies or doing arts and crafts. She loved the holidays and would spend hours preparing food and desserts. It was her joy to bring the family together. She raised all of her children to love the LORD and always put GOD and her family before herself.
Funeral will take place 2:30p.m. Monday November 3, 2025 at Lincoln Baptist Church, 2400 S 11th St. Lincoln, NE 68502, with a visitation starting at 1:30p.m.
Burial will take place at 3:30p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, 6800 S 14th St. Lincoln, NE 68512.
