Jean K. (Whisler) Chittim, 91, Lincoln, died Monday (3-19-12) in Harvard, NE. Born (3-24-20) in Portland, Oregon to Emery Levi and Evelyn Candace (Gove) Whisler. As a teen she was baptized into the Assembly of God Church and traveled to tent revivals with the Assembly of God Church of which she was a lifetime member. Member of D.O.E.S. Jean was a dedicated homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an avid gardner, and loved cats, dogs and horses.
Family members include daughters, sons-in-law: Maryann and Roger Thompson, Clay Center, NE; Jeanine and Joe Arrigo, Kettering, OH: son, daughter-in-law: Buddy and Lou Rolofson, Lakewood, CO.; grandsons: Christopher Levi (Christy) Rolofson, Aurora, CO, Kyle Levi Rolofson, Lakewood, CO, granddaughter: Kelly Louise (Greg) Falcone, Denver, CO., great granddaughters: Fiona Veda Falcone and Lilliana Joy Rolofson; grandsons: James Joseph Arrigo, Scottsdale, AZ, Jeffrey Elwyn (Alisha) Arrigo, Erie, CO; great granddaughter: Molly Kate Arrigo; granddaughters: Michele Ann (Dick) Hodges, Lincoln, NE, Angela Anne (Brian) Anderson, Chillicothe, MO; grandsons: Roger Elwyn Thompson, Pinetop, AZ, Kevin Lee (Nikki) Thompson, Clay Center, NE; great grandchildren: Hanna Jean Bendler, and Oliver Reece Hodges, both of Lincoln, NE, Christian Levi and Mikaela Marie Thompson, Omaha, NE, Hunter Isaac, Emma Ann and Savannah Mae Thompson, Pinetop, AZ, Jacob Barry and Lydia Nicole Anderson, Chillicothe MO, Ravon Hudson, Lincoln, NE, Brenton DeGunia, Hastings, NE; one great great granddaughter: Rhiannon DeGunia. Preceded in death by parents, 3 husbands, Elwyn L. “Bud” Rolofson, Jerry Sundberg and Russell Chittim, one brother William Levi Whisler.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Thursday (3-22-12) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street. Burial in Fairview Cemetery.
