Janice (Walt) Toussaint, 76, of Lincoln, passed away July 18, 2019. She was born on March 13, 1943, to Herb and Mary Ruth Walt.
Family members include husband John, of Lincoln; son Jim Poggemeyer, of Littleton, CO and daughter Anne Roe of Nebraska City, NE; sister Mary Walker, of Minneapolis, MN;
Janice loved traveling between her homes with her husband John, in Hawaii,Lincoln and Lake Okoboji. Their network of friends grew through their many activities. She enjoyed time spent with family and cheering on the Nebraska football team. She had many hobbies including golf, tennis, needle pointing with her friends, and spending time at the beach. Janice’s career began as an ESL teacher, became a travel agent, eventually owning a travel agency with John and conducting tours all over the world. She was, as many would say, “The Best Travel Agent In Lincoln.”
Janice was known to her family as extremely witty, intelligent, kind and truly an individual that brought joy to their lives.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in her name.
