Janice had many interests including; Husker volleyball and football, sudoku, gardening, macrame, and adoring her grandchildren.
Family members include her son, Jeremy Slaughter, grandchildren, Emily Cary and Ryan Brockhoff, daughter, Megan (Jamie) Shelley, grandchildren; Caden Hosack, Gavin Hosack, Brock Shelley, Leighton Shelley, and Hudson Shelley, daughter, Heather Slaughter, grandchild, Meadow Slaughter-Cockerill, son, Joshua (Jennifer) Slaughter, grandchildren; Jackson Slaughter, Owen Slaughter, Henry Slaughter, and Eli Slaughter, siblings, Pat (Michael) Gordon and Roger (Marjorie) Zvolanek, her dog Gizmo, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband David Slaughter and parents.
Cremation Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday November 22, 2024 at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ St. Lincoln, NE 68510.
Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
