Jan enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren; whether it was at basketball, soccer or softball; “Grandma Jan” was always a familiar face to players and parents. She loved to sew, read and do crossword puzzles. Jan loved getting together with family to watch Husker volleyball, eat sloppy joes and enjoy a gin and tonic.

She was a great friend to many, including her High School Alumni group and her Faith Bible study. Her kindness and generosity will be missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to thank her close friends who continued to reach out to her during her recent health issues. A special thanks to the staff at Bryan LGH Hospital, Legacy Estates, the rehabilitations centers, and staff at Faith Lutheran Church.

I’m so so saddened for the world to lose Jan. But soooo happy for her to join Larry and Greg in heaven. We also lived in Columbus at the same time and we were in the same Womens Bible study thru Peace Lutheran. I had spoken to her a year ago when Karen died from COVID. So many great memories of her. Larry also taught our kids at CHS in the 90’s. My thoughts are jumbled because I’m so sad to hear of her passing. Please know she was loved and will be missed 😢☹️

I was so sorry to hear about Jan. We did volunteer income taxes together for a few years, and she was always so pleasant to work with. I also ran into her many times at HyVee after that and so enjoyed catching up! I’m sending condolences and wishes for peace to her whole family.

Our deepest sympathy in the loss of your Mother. We worked with your Father at First National, and got to know her thru him. Plus at one point we all attended Peace Lutheran Church. I will always remember her beautiful crochet projects she did…she inspired me to crochet again. May God be with you-your in our thoughts and prayers.
