Janet Lea Hesson, 84, passed away on February 3, 2025 in Lincoln, NE. She was born on May 14, 1940 in Lincoln, NE, to Robert and Virginia (Tays) Riley.

Janet’s family members include sons, Todd Hesson and significant other Krista Patterson and Kevin (Diane) Hesson, grandchildren; Josh (Katie) Hesson, Jake (Christine) Hesson, Isabelle Hesson, and Jack Hesson, great grandchildren; Owen Hesson, Peyton Hesson, and Harper Hesson, siblings; Gil (Pam) Anderson, John (Pam) Anderson, Peggy Pedersen, and Nancy Schilke, sisters-in-law, Ellen Hesson and Sandie Anderson; several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband Roger, parents, sister, Sandy Bull, brother, Robert Anderson.

Visitation will be Friday, February 7, 2025, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street Lincoln, NE 68510.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11:00 am at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel with reception to follow.

Burial will take place at Wyuka Cemetery following the reception.
