James L. Grabowski, 67, Lincoln, died Sunday (10-3-10). Born (10-4-42) in Lincoln, Nebraska to Clarence and Mildred (Wert) Grabowski. Ret. Troubleshooter/Technician, Lincoln Telephone & Telegraph Co. Avid golfer, great cook, and enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles. Lincoln Northeast Class of 1960.
Family members include wife: Pam; son, daughter-in-law: Michael and Kathy Grabowski, Louisville, KY; daughter, son-in-law: Kim and Chuck Chmelka, daughter: Michelle Holt, all of Lincoln; 7 grandchildren: Kara Antle, Kelli and Katie Grabowski, John and Jeff Holt, Jenna Donley and Alex Chmelka; 5 great grandchildren: Hannah, Jakob, Jaeden, Dakota and Landon; sister-in-law: Eleanor Fenton; brother-in-law: Paul Greenwalt; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, brother Dwayne, sister Sally Greenwalt.
