James L. Garrison, 66, Lincoln, died Tuesday (3-10-09). Born (9-20-42) in Aurora, Illinois the son of Rev. Kenneth M. and Edna (Schmidtgal) Garrison. Custodian – University of Nebraska Lincoln 27 years. Member: Saint Paul United Methodist Church, Methodist Men’s Club; devoted Husker fan, season football ticket holder for many years. Loving father, loyal brother and good friend.
Survived by children: Elizabeth and Matthew Garrison, Lincoln (both with former military service); grandchildren: Tyler and Abraham; brother, sister-in-law: Keith and Wendy Garrison, Lincoln; niece: Suzann Langner; 2 uncles: Elton and Doris Garrison, Kansas; Bob and JoAnn Schmidtgal, Minnesota; aunt: Betty and W. O. “Buzz” Glazeman, North Dakota, special friend: Bill Ainsley, Lincoln. Preceded in death by wife: Margaret, parents, grandparents, several aunts and uncles.
