He was a fun and loving grandpa to 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Jim kids and grandkids brought him so much pride and joy!

Teresa, We didn’t really know Jim as well as we would have liked to personally…but through Susie and Gary, Ally and Carey we do feel we “know” him. We certainly enjoyed the time with you at Ben and Ally’s wedding and the times of your visits here. The obituary is a beautiful tribute to a man who contributed much to the lives of his family members and so many more. Our love and prayers are with you.

My father once told me that through life most people can count their true friends on one hand. Jim was one of those friends and I will miss him for the rest of my days.

Jim will be missed by our family! He always looked out after our parents and made sure their driveway was clear of snow and that they remembered to close their garage door. Once I moved across the street I always enjoyed the conversations with him about his family, Husker sports and the weather! I will miss his signature “Hello” anytime I saw him! Terri, you and your family are in our thoughts!!
