James “Denny” Moler, 71, of Lincoln passed away April 30, 2021. Born June 2, 1949 in Hastings, NE to Harold and Patricia (Coble) Moler.
Denny was a diver in the U. S. Navy. He was very proud of being a Navy veteran. He retired from Abbott Laboratories in Ashland, OH as a supervisor after many years.
Denny was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Hickman Lodge A.F. & A.M., and Sesostris Shrine.
Surviving family members include his wife JoLane Sterns Moler; daughters Victoria ‘Tori’ Moler (Brentton Walker), Wichita, KS, and Amy Voight (Dave), San Diego, CA; Mary Weber-Norman (Larry), West Fork, AR; and son Jason Austin, Hillsboro, OR; granddaughters Brelynn and Livvie Walker, Wichita, KS; sisters Brenda Jones, Firth, and Beverly (Lyn) Wagner, Lexington; brother Jerry (Deb) Moler, Cozad; mother-in-law Joan Sterns, Lincoln; sister-in-law Traci (Tim) Monson, Bloomington, IL; many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, brother David Moler, newborn daughter Shelia Moler, brother-in-law Warren Jones and father-in-law Lance Sterns.
Memorial Service: 2:30 p.m. Friday (5-7-21) St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 8550 Pioneers Blvd. with Pastor Wayne Alloway officiating. Face masks are required.
