Jack E. Rippe, 80, of Lincoln, passed away January 4, 2015. Born October 30, 1934 in Ohiowa, NE to Theodore and Alda (Gewecke) Rippe. Ret. 1998, Textron Corp. after 30 years. Served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. Member of the Evangelical United Lutheran Church and National Cushman of America Club. A volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. Enjoyed and rebuilt Cushman scooters.
Family members include his wife, Rebecca; daughter, Karen (Eric) Krull; son, Kevin (Theresa) Rippe, all of Lincoln; grandchildren, Ben, Seth, Katherine and Nicholas; brothers, Gordon Rippe, Lincoln, Robert (Kathryn) Rippe, Cambria, CA. Preceded in death by parents; son Keith.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday (1-10-15) Evangelical United Lutheran Church, 5945 Fremont St. with Rev. Dr. Neal J. Anthony officiating. 2:00 p.m. burial in Cheney Cemetery.

Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Friday with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street and one hour prior to service time at the church.
