Ivy Lucile Axberg, 90, of Lincoln, passed away February 22, 2018. Born July 17, 1927 at Nebraska City, NE to Wilber and Eleanor (Cook) Bird. Ret. Supervisor for Independent Living Services.
Family members include her daughters, Terrie (Jim) Hamsa, Waverly, Teresa (Glen) Schultz, Walton, Wanda (Patrick) Brown, White Bear Lake, MN, and Lucy (Steve) Suvalsky, Des Moines, IA; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Wallace.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday (2-26-18) First United Methodist Church, 14410 Folkestone, Waverly, NE with Pastor Jeff Adams officiating. Prior private burial.
