Ilmars “Illy” Didrichsons, 90, of Lincoln, passed away September 30, 2015. Born November 30, 1924 to Jekabs Didrichsons and Otilija Freimanis in Riga, Latvia. A retired civil engineer for the NE Dept. of Roads and a professional photographer.
He is survived by former wife and lifelong friend, Velta Didrichsons; children, Valdis (Jada Rae Ferguson) Didrichsons, Andris (Carrie) Didrichsons, Inta (Dan Leger) Didrichsons; grandchildren, Mara, Lukas, Sophie Didrichsons; Emma and Kalvis Didrichsons; Nikolas and Katie Leger; loving nieces and their families, Aina, Marga, and Anita. Preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Elga.
Funeral Service: 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the Latvian Evangelic Lutheran Church, 3300 C St, Lincoln, NE 68510. Visitation with family greeting friends: 6-8p.m. Monday, October 5, 2015, at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ St. and 1 hr prior to service time Tuesday.
