Hoa Trong Tran, 60, of Lincoln, died Monday, September 11, 2012. Born October 16, 1951 in Vietnam.
Bilingual Liaison for Lincoln Public Schools. Member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Library Society, Multicultural Association and Educator, professional translator and avid reader. He was an antique collector, geologist, historian and musician. Hoa was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
Family members include his wife Hang “Julianna” Bui; daughters, (son-in-law): Adina Tran (Hieu To); Catherine Tran; son, (daughter-in-law): Eric (Tammy) Tran; grandson: Kaden Tran.
Rosary: 7:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 6345 Madison Ave. with Hilary Nguyen Hai Khanh officiating. Burial in the Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation: 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Thursday and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Friday at Roper and Sons.
