Helen V. Holt, 97, Lincoln passed away, Sun. 10/30/ 16 in Lincoln. Member of Evangelical United Lutheran Church. Helen taught school for 40 plus years in both Kansas and Nebraska. Helen enjoyed traveling, volunteering at Eastmont Towers, playing both piano and organ, and baking (especially cookies).
Survived by sisters Kathryn Nelson and Ramona Johnston, Manhattan, KS; nieces and nephews, Carolyn Mohr and Marjean Newcomer, both of Lincoln, Mark and Kent Nelson, Kathy Mignano all of Manhattan, KS. Preceded in death by parents, husband Walter and brother and sister in law Elmer and Thelma Vandahl.
Funeral Service: 11:30 a.m. 11/3/16, at Roper and Sons Funeral Home, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
