Hazel B. Hendrix

January 20, 1922 - July 20, 2009

Hazel B. Hendrix, 87, Lincoln, widow of Floyd, died Monday (7-20-09). Born (1-20-22) near Milford, Nebraska to Eli and Etna (Alber) Miller. Homemaker. Member: St. Mark’s United Methodist Church and Church Women. Volunteer at Bryan Memorial Hospital.

Family members include son, daughter-in-law: Gary and Linda Hendrix, Lincoln; grandchildren: Lisa Hendrix, Madrid, IA, Tyler Hendrix, Lincoln; brother, sisters-in-law: Howard and Bonnie Miller, Friend, NE, Gladys Miller, Sun City, AZ; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, husband, sister, Eula Herman and brother, Kenneth.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday (7-24-09) St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 8550 Pioneers Blvd. Pastor Ray Norris officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Tabitha Hospice, 4720 Randolph (10) or Back Pack Program c/o Food Bank of Lincoln, 4840 Doris Bair Circle Suite A, Lincoln, NE 68504-1465 or St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.

Visitation: 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday with family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
