Harry Norval Jr. was 90 years young of Seward, NE. He passed away Monday January 12, 2015 in Lincoln, NE.
Harry served in the United States Coast Guard on the Nemesis II. He graduated from The University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Harry married Brunhilde (Bruni) on December 3rd 1965. They lived an amazing life together in Lincoln, they loved going on cruises and seeing the world together.
One of Harry’s hobbies was his Model-A’s, he owned 2 of them. Bruni and Harry were members of the Model-A club of Lincoln for 25 years and went on trips across the US with the club and were apart of all the parades.
Harry worked for the Lancaster County Court for 25 years. He was an avid farmer in Seward and loved to plant his corn and soy beans. His favorite time was Husker Football season, he was at every home game and loved traveling to watch the team play as well.
Harry is survived by his wife Brunhilde. His daughter Dagmar (Bill) Jurgens, his grandchildren Kayla (Doug) Cunningham, Kelsey Jurgens, Kolby Jurgens all of Omaha; brother Bryon (Kathy) Norval of Seward, along with family and friends. Harry was preceded in death by his parents Harry Sr. and Mildred (Millie) of Seward and his son Mark Norval.
Service will be held at Sheridan Lutheran Church in Lincoln on Friday January 16th at 11:00 am. Private family burial in Seward.
