Harland H. Johnson, 82, of Lincoln, passed away July 25, 2016. Born August 16, 1933 on a farm in rural Courtland, KS to George and Esther (Blackburn) Johnson. Retired Nebraska Legislative Coordinator. Member of Bethany Christian Church, Executive Director Northeast YMCA, longtime member of the Lincoln East Rotary, former board member and longtime volunteer of the Red Cross additionally longtime volunteer for Nebraska Sports Council (Cornhusker State Games), Bethany Business Association, Live and Learn TV Program Host and “Santa Claus”.
Family members include his wife, Eulah; children, Sheree (Frank II) Williams, Iowa City, IA, Linda Morrison, Pagosa Springs, CO and Chris (Tina) Johnson, Lincoln; grandchildren, Frank (Anna) Williams III, John (Carmen) Williams, Christine Morrison, Ryley, Lexie and Levi Johnson, Amber and Paige Craft; great-grandchildren, Maxwell Williams and Kyra Rosencran; brother, Raymond (Mary) Johnson, Morganton, NC. Preceded in death by parents.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday (8-6-16) Bethany Christian Church, 1645 N. Cotner Blvd., Lincoln, NE with Pastor Daryl Lauber officiating.
