Glen Oliver Anderson

Glen Oliver Anderson, 89, of Ceresco, entered into rest on October 22, 2016.  Glen was the youngest child/son born on May 13, 1927 at home near Davey, Nebraska to Frank and Mayme Anderson.

Glen was surrounded by the love of his family, including his wife, BonnieAnn and their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren more than anything else.  Glen was a farmer and dairyman.  He was blessed with spending the past 36 years working everyday with his oldest son, Russell.

Glen was an active member of his community.  He served as former Sunday School Superintendant, Eagle Methodist Church, Eagle; Ceresco Evangelical Covenant Church Board, Ceresco; Ceresco Elevator Board, Ceresco; Mid-America Dairy Board, Omaha; 20 year Dekalb Dealer; 30 plus year member American Legion Post #244 Ceresco; 50 year member Ceresco Evangelical Covenant Church; 2015 Cancer Survivor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Gleann Edgman; son Clyde Anderson; brothers: infant brother, Vern, Phil and Harold Anderson; sister Eileen Robbins; and sister-in-law Grace Anderson.   His surviving family includes wife Bonnie and son Russell and his wife Rennae of Ceresco.  Seven grandchildren Eric (Kirstin) Edgman, Gretna; Renae Lade, Lincoln; Kyle (Kristin) Anderson, Lincoln; Shannon (Jason) Wiig, Lincoln; Chaes (Rachel) Edwards, Tyler, Texas; SeVoey Anderson, Nashville, Tennessee and Husker Football player Fyn Anderson, Ceresco.  Eleven great children Grayson Edgman, Gretna; Taylore Sedlacek, Grace Lade, and Kael Lade, Lincoln; Camdyn and Cade Anderson, Lincoln; Haylee and Connor Wiig, Lincoln; Ava, Graci and Juliana Edwards, Tyler, Texas.  Also survived by sister Roma Voss, Litchfield, Minnesota; sisters-in-law Mary Jo Anderson, Lincoln and Carol Anderson, Davey, Nebraska. 17 nieces and nephews, and 33 great nieces and nephews.  Beloved Cousins Doris Hansen Kosse, and Richard Hansen, Red Cloud.

Family and friends visitation: 2-8 p.m., with family 6-8 Friday at Roper and Sons Funeral Home, 4300 O Street, Lincoln

A memorial gathering to celebrate his life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at the Ceresco Evangelical Covenant Church, 208 West Pine Street, Ceresco followed by lunch and burial service at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, 6700 South 14th Street, Lincoln.

Memorials to the family for a designated charity to be determined later.
