George W. Barlow, Jr., 85, Lincoln passed away May 5, 2019. Born January 22, 1934 in Sunol, NE to George and Winifred (Johnson) Barlow, Sr. U. S. Army Veteran. Retired Banker.
George was a member of First-Plymouth Congregational Church, Lincoln Rotary Club #14, South Lincoln Track Club, served on the board of the Nebraska Community Blood Bank and was a longtime Husker track official.
Family members include his sons Scott and Brad Barlow, Lincoln, NE, Doug (Megan) Barlow, Weeping Water, NE; sisters-in-law Dorothy Barlow, Grand Island, NE and Mary Lawritson, Castle Rock, CO; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, wife of 54 years Carolyn, infant sister Katharine and brother Charles R. Barlow.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday (5-9-19) First-Plymouth Congregational Church, 2000 D Street. Private prior interment.
