George K. Sholy, 89, Lincoln entered Eternal Joy on June 4, 2019. Born March 30, 1930 in Haifa, Palestine to Khalil and Fairouz (Abdulnour) Sholy. Ret. Financial Administrator for the U. S. Navy.
Family members include his wife Judy; daughters Fayrouz (Mike) Fayad and Jackie (Mark) Duggan, all of Lincoln; son Joseph (Teresa) Sholy, Wilmington, NC; granddaughter Sandra (Keith) Fick and 5 great-grandsons; grandson George (Monica) Fayad; brothers Peter Sholy, Joseph (Samira) Sholy; sisters Isabelle Chawli, and Theresa Bassil; and the mother of George’s children Kamal Farah. He has many caring nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; sisters Juliet Chokeir, Nahi Raie and Widad Akl.

Mass of Christian Burial: 3:00 p.m. Friday (6-7-19) St. Peter’s Catholic Church,4500 Duxhall Drive. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
