I am so sorry to learn of Gene’s passing. I worked as his legal assistant for two years after I moved to Lincoln in 2007. What I learned from him in that short time has been invaluable. He was indeed one of the kindest and most patient people I have ever met. I am so happy to have gotten an opportunity to know him. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Linda and families, Gene was a fine, gentle man who was adored by many. He was a great brother-in-law to my mother who was there with a hand to hold for her during her late stages of alzheimers. His tenderness showed with acts of kindness and his love for his wife was apparent. May God bless you all during this time of grief.

I worked part time as Gene’s legal assistant in the mid-90’s. He wrote a lovely recommendation letter for me for law school. I remember Gene fondly and appreciate all that he did for me. My condolences to Gene’s family.

Condolences to the family. Gene and I were office mates for 16 years I believe. Gene was a wonderful man who cared about others. If more lawyers were like Gene the profession would have a different reputation. A gentleman and great guy.
