Gary Lee Stone, 74, of Waverly, passed away December 23, 2017. Born December 11, 1943, in Columbus, NE to Virgil and Cassie (Rieken) Stone. Gary worked in Insurance Sales at Waverly Plaza Insurance, lived in the Waverly area for 46+ years, and enjoyed dogs, reading, fishing, sports, listening to music, and watching old Western movies on T.V.
Family members include his wife of 52 years, Jan; daughters, Michelle (Joel) Dagerman of Norfolk, NE and Lisa (Brian) Schlautman of Gretna, NE; son, Matthew (Stacia) Stone of Waverly, NE; and grandchildren, Spencer, Emma, Daniel, Eric, Madelyn, and Nathan. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard.
