Frances L. Spear, 96, Lincoln, NE, passed away Friday (8-16-11). She was born September 1, 1914, in Oakview, Colorado and married Robert Spear in 1934 in Kansas. They were married 60 years before his death in 1994. She was a longtime resident of Paxton and lived her later years in Lincoln.
Survivors include one son, William and wife Lynne of San Francisco, CA; three daughters, Laurel Wilson (Ted) of Ft. Worth, TX, Carol Rosse (Arthur) of Arlington, TX, and Iryl J. Spear of Lincoln; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, two brothers, Allen and Herbert, two sisters, Marion and Dana.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Paxton with burial in the Paxton Cemetery.
