Evelyn M. Weidman

May 5, 1917 - October 15, 2010

Evelyn M. Weidman, 93, Lincoln, widow of Richard “Mickie” Weidman with whom she was married 68 years, passed away Friday (10-15-10). Born (5-5-17) in Chariton, Iowa to Fred and Jessie (Brennaman) Dunshee. She was a member of First United Methodist Church for 50+ years and Electa Chapter #8, O.E.S. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother with a collection of delicious recipes and a devoted Husker sports fan.

Family members include: daughters, son-in-law: Jeanne and Ron Siske, Ralston, Wendy Robinson, Overland Park, KS; grandsons: Lanny (Kelly) Stoltenberg, Colorado Springs, CO, Less (Nicki) Stoltenberg, Houston, TX, Tony (Paula) Siske, Scottsbluff, NE, Randy (Angie) Siske, Papillion, NE, Tommy (Jess) Siske, Omaha, NE, Josh Siske, Crete, NE, Andrew Robinson, Alex Robinson, both of Overland Park, KS; 6 great grandchildren, sister, Flora Belle Hixson, Chariton, IA. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, daughter, Marguerite “Peggy” Albertson, granddaughter Nicole Siske, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.

Family will greet friends from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday (10-18-10) at the Gateway Senior Living Penthouse, 225 N. 56th St. for a Celebration of Life Gathering.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (10-19-10) First United Methodist Church, 2723 N. 50th St. with Pastor Larry Moffet, officiating. Cremation.
