Elaine K. Harrington, 86, Omaha, formerly of Lincoln, died Saturday (4-3-10). Born (8-20-23) in Berea, Ohio to Martin and Laura (Lechner) Kerkhof. Real Estate Agent for Harrington Realty. Member of Hillcrest Country Club. Volunteer for Headstart in Colorado. Loved reading, music, birds, playing bridge and writing poetry, but what she loved most was being a mom.
Family members include daughters, sons-in-law: Cyndi Worick and Rick Fouke, Tucson, AZ, Diane Worick and Pete Schol, Norwalk, IA; son, daughter-in-law: Richard, Jr. and Laura Worick, Omaha; grandsons: Bretton and Anthony Worick, Omaha; step-grandchildren: Katie, Collin and Nathan Gell, Omaha, step-son, spouse: Steven and Virginia Harrington, and their children, Christi and Steven Harrington, Hershey, PA; sisters, brothers-in-law: Dawn and Dick Gollwitzer, Fountain Inn, SC, Carol and Dick Thomas, Phoenix, AZ. Preceded in death by husbands – Richard Ross Worick (married 4-8-43) and Frank Harrington (married 1-15-75) and close friend Al Kauffman.
