Duane was a third generation Barber of his family’s Barbershop of 101 years, in University Place. He was a former member of First United Methodist Church and St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, North State Lodge #227, A.F. & A.M., York Rite, Royal Arch Masonry & Council, Knights Templar, and the Sesostris Temple of the Shrine.
Family members include his children Gareld (Becky) Butler and Janet Aliano of Raymore, MO; grandchildren Kyle (Katie Trinter) and Mark Butler and Nick (Audrey) and Tim (Megan) Snow; four great grandchildren, sister Sallie Youngman; special friend Norma Walgreen.
Preceded in death by his parents and wife Roberta.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m., on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel.
Memorials may be given in lieu of flowers to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
