Donna Rae Johnson, 86, of Lincoln passed away on January 15, 2025. Born October 4, 1938, in Beemer, NE, to Herman and Dorothea (Meeske) Behrens.

Donna, along with her late husband Dwight, owned Johnson Appraisal Company (1979-2016). She was a member of Christ Lincoln Church where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school, and was involved in Bible studies. Donna enjoyed playing the piano, gardening and baking. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

Family members include her sons Randy (Jeanine) Johnson and Craig (Grace) Johnson; grandchildren Grant (Jamie) Johnson, Megan (John) Clabaugh, and Marisa (Dana) Norall; great-grandchildren Edyn, Gage, Gabby, Elijah and Isla; brother John (Diane) Behrens; sisters-in-law Kathy Behrens, Julie (Bill) Thomas, and Carolyn Hanke; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Dwight, son Scotty, and brother Bob Behrens.

Funeral service: 10:30 am Friday, January 24, 2025, Christ Lincoln Church, 4325 Sumner Street.

Visitation with family present from 5-7 pm Thursday, January 23, 2025, Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive.

Dearest Donna … not a single childhood memory of mine exists without you and Dwight as part of it. SUCH SPECIAL PEOPLE … such wonderful neighbors … so many smiles and laughter … and sadness as well. I have loved having you in my life and send sincere condolences to your children and grandchildren. We will all meet again in heaven one day. God grant your loved ones peace as we mourn your passing.
