Donald worked at the Nuclear Sub Supply at Bremerton Shipping Yards. He was in the special forces, a POW, and had two purple hearts.
He is survived by his wife, Darcy; sons Joshua ( Kris Nilsson) and David (Genelyn) Hastings; stepchildren Ashley (Greg) Bennett, Jordan (Ashli) Gottula, and Noah (Kaytie) Gottula; grandchildren Jasper Newton Hastings, Jocelyn and Olivia Hastings; step-grandchildren Finn and Freya Bennett and Hadley, Eli, Addison, Silas, Dane and Kai Gottula.
