Don was a wonderful Rotarian. His commitment to Service Above Self and the other tenets of Rotary were admirable. He will be missed as an active member of our club, especially when I login to host the weekly Zoom meetings. We always had a nice visit. Sending my prayers to Bev and all of Don’s family and friends.

Bev, I am saddened to hear of Don’s passing. I cringed when I thought of the battle he waged against throat cancer, and your journey along side. I thought a lot of Don in Rotary14. I’m sorry he had such a hard health journey.

I served with Don as a Cornhusker Scout Reservation Camp Staff member way too many years ago. He was a lot of fun, adventurous, and very fine Scout in every respect. May God Bless and Keep Don Spinar and his wonderful family.

Don and I first became friends in the 60’s at NE Wesleyan. As others have shared, Don was always friendly and had quite the gift of gab. Down the road a few decades Don became a trusted investment advisor. So grateful to Don and now his gifted son David follows with the same wisdom and integrity. Good people.
