Donald Earl Williams, 79, Lincoln, passed away June 21, 2018. Born August 27, 1938 in Guin, Alabama to Grady and Leola (Taylor) Williams. He started A-1 Roofing in 1962 and it then became Don Williams Roofing in 1984. He loved Nebraska football, country music and watching his granddaughters activities.
Family members include his wife of 60 years, Betty; daughter Shelley (Shawn) Swisher, Lincoln; grandchildren Shaylyn and Shylee Swisher; brother Doyle (Betty) Williams, Davenport, FL; sisters Dorothy (Lee) Brinkman, Rogers, AR and Doris (Straley) Melvin, Auburndale, FL. Preceded in death by parents; brothers Taylor and Daniel; sisters Lois Bain, Myra Minor, Sue Stickney and Helen Taylor.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday (6-25-18) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
