Dick Douglas Sunderland, 48, Lincoln, died Wednesday (3-3-10).
Born (5-23-61) in Grand Fork ND to Edwin & Anna (Nelson) Sunderland. Moved to Lincoln in 1970, attended Lincoln High School, and then entered the Job Corp. He worked many different jobs – finally securing a position with American Securities. Dick enjoyed working, hunting, fishing & camping. His dream was to move to Alaska; but he did visit the state while on a cruise with some of his family – he didn’t want to come home.
Dick is survived by his mother Anna, sister La Norma Case, brother Ed, twin brother Daniel, 4 nephews, 1 niece Annet, 2 great-nephews & 2 great-nieces. He will be missed by family, friends and co-workers. Dick was proceeded in death by his father, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and grandparents.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (3-9-10) Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 5555 Roose. Pastor Chris Anderson officiating.
