Derek Robert Klotz, 17, was born on March 3, 2008, to John and LeAnne Klotz in Lincoln, NE. He passed away on November 18, 2025.

Derek is survived by his parents John Klotz, LeAnne and Eric Garrett. Siblings Kayla (Conrad) Martinez, Eric Garrett III (Tre’), and Xavier Garrett. Nephew Beckett Martinez. Many grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00pm Monday November 24th at Roper & Sons South Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Dr. Lincoln, NE.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday November 25th at Trinity Lutheran Church, 724 S 12th Street, Lincoln, NE.
