Dennis was a man whose heart was centered around his family. Above all, he cherished his role as a father to his beloved sons, Kirk and Brian. He was their steadfast supporter, always ready with guidance, encouragement, and above all, unconditional love. He became a doting grandfather and later great-grandfather. His grandchildren, were the apples of his eye, he spent countless hours sharing stories, laughter, attending programs, sporting events, and family gatherings to enjoy time with them. His great-grandchildren, brought him immeasurable joy, a living testament to the love that spanned across generations.
Dennis’s love for his family extended far beyond simple words. He expressed it in the quiet moments — whether it was watching his grandchildren play, giving advice to his sons, attending events, or offering a listening ear to anyone who needed it. His home was a place of comfort, laughter, and warmth. To Dennis, family was everything.
Dennis was also known for his sense of humor, always ready with a joke or a smile to brighten anyone’s day. But it was his gentle, caring nature that truly defined him. He could be relied upon for a word of wisdom, a thoughtful gesture, or just to listen.
Dennis served in the Navy, on the maiden crew of the USS Constellation aircraft carrier. Following that he worked for the railroad (Burlington Northern) for 38 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, boating, canoeing, and camping throughout his life. He also participated in trap leagues for many years.
He is survived by his sons, Kirk (Rachelle) and Brian (Stephanie), his grandchildren, Chris (Carrie), Tereva, Chance, and Bryanna, his great-grandchildren, Violet, Felicity, Brock, Mae Dean, and Cassandra, and his extended family who will miss him dearly. Dennis is survived by his brother, Dick, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Millie (Brychta) Beeman, brothers Gerald and Clair Beeman, and sister Dorothy Rosenthal.
Though Dennis has left this world, his legacy of love and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and many friends, especially in the eyes of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will carry his memory with them always. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he so freely gave.
