Sorry to hear of Deb’s passing. I have such fond memories of working with her back in high-school days. Then to be surprised later on in life at a military function she was married to Tom. Lots of laughs that night. Much love to your family. Anything required please let me know.

It feels like a crushing blow to hear that Deb has passed away – she was a great co-worker at the library and a wonderful person. The way she moved through the world was a gift to us all: with genuine kindness, sincerity, caring and humor. My heart goes out to her friends and family.

Tom and family–I am so saddened to hear of Deb’s passing. Though, she and I had lost touch in the last decade, I still counted her as one of my closest friends. She came into my life in junior high and showed me that mean girls aren’t worth the effort–and we were best friends from then on. I will forever remember Deb as a hilarious friend, full of fun, laughter, and selflessness. She was the most genuine person I’ve ever met, and truly was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. My elderly parents would always tell me when they ran into Deb in town. She would take the time to stop and talk to them and give them updates on what was going on in her world and ask what was going on with them. I always thought how kind and entirely like Deb it was to make that extra effort. Even though she and I were not in contact anymore, I’ll miss her. Tom, and Dan, Madi–you are in my thoughts.

Deb will always be one of my favorite library coworkers. She brought so much joy and enthusiasm to every project we worked on. I have so many amazing memories of working with her on bulletin boards, book displays, Teen art shows, open mic nights, and the Bethany parade. And even after she left the library, I looked forward to catching up with her when she would stop in and pick up a book. I can’t believe she is gone. Tom, Dan and Madi: my sincerest condolences; you will all be in my thoughts.
