Darrell R. Brewster, 65, Lincoln, died Tuesday (3-8-11). Born (2-18-46) in rural Ewing, Nebraska to Marion and Grace (Fleming) Brewster. Engineer, Lincoln Electric Service for 32 years. Served in the U. S. Army and National Reserves for 20 years. Member and former Elder, Capitol City Christian Church, enjoyed church ministries and spending time in relationship with God. Past President of ASHRAE. Aspired to play golf with son into his final days and enjoyed listening to music. Loved spending time with his family and going to his grandchildren’s activities.
Family members include wife Marilyn; daughter Kristine Clark and husband Tony, LaVista, NE, son Chad Brewster and wife Crystal, Wichita Falls, TX; grandchildren Tanner Brewster, Ashley Clark, Danielle Clark, Marlee Brewster and Zoe Brewster; sisters Lois Fritts, St. Joseph, MO, Marge Crabtree and husband Archie, Chambers, NE; brothers Jim Brewster and wife Sue, Shelby, NE, Wayne Brewster and wife Helen, Ewing, NE; nephew Larry Wabs and wife Loraine, Paige, NE. Preceded in death by parents, sister Norma Brewster.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Monday (3-14-11) Capitol City Christian Church, 7800 Holdrege Street. Pastor Rusty Miller, officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery.
