Share a Memory or Condolence

September 10, 2024

I have many memories of Darrell from living next door to the Jensen family from 1965-1971, including working for Darrell at the Piedmont store, travelling together to visit friends at Johnson Lake, and dealing with the mean old spinster that lived to the south of the Jensen’s. Once when Darrell was washing his car the lady complained that his rinse water migrated to her sidewalk and a passerby asked her if she complained to God when it rained. I am sorry I have lost touch with the Jensen kids as we have all gone our separate ways, and am thinking of you, Darrell and Carol now. I wish you all the very best.

Condolences to Darrell’s family. He and my mother, LaVona (Butch) Schommer were classmates and members of the Alliance High School class of 1948. I always enjoyed visiting with him and Carol about Alliance. May your memories of a life well lived sustain all of you at this difficult time.
