Daniel Phillip Tierney, 39, of Lincoln passed away April 22, 2023. Born July 27, 1983, in Lincoln, NE to Terry and Linda (Skinner) Tierney.

Daniel served in the U. S. Army Infantry earning a Purple Heart, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and Expert Marksmanship Badge.

Family members include his children Vincent and Jacqueline; parents Terry and Cindy Tierney, Waverly; siblings Charity, Kenneth, Cody and Noah Tierney, and Nicole (Brent) Pawling; grandmother Gladys Tierney; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service: 11:00 am Monday, May 1, 2023, Bethlehem Covenant Church, 18841 N. 98th Street, Waverly. Burial in Eagle Cemetery.
