Daniel Joseph Tejral, 71, Lincoln, died peacefully Monday (5-9-11) with his family by his side. Born (7-13-39) in Lincoln, Nebraska to Joseph and Alice (Jones) Tejral. Ret. 2005, Machine Operator for Parker Hannifin 31+ years. U.S. Navy Peacetime Veteran . Served on the USS Manley DD940 and was a member of the USS Manley DD940 Association. He had a love for tractors, farming, polka music and NASCAR.
Family members include brothers, sisters-in-law: David and Carol Tejral, Marvin Tejral, all of Lincoln; sisters, brother-in-law: Erma and Jerry Root, and Dorothy Lott, all of Lincoln; many nieces and nephews; special niece: Sherri Kempcke; great nieces and great nephews. Preceded in death by parents, wife Shirley, brother Richard.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday (5-13-11) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street. Pastor Larry Secor, officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery with full military honors.
