Daniel Dean Scott, 58, of Lincoln, passed away August 16, 2016 after an extended illness. Born June 29, 1958 in Lincoln, NE son of Robert L. and Mary (Peterson) Scott.
His family lived in Columbus, NE where Dan attended the Columbus schools. After graduation he attended Barber College in Lincoln. Daniel was co-owner of Barber Surgeons in Columbus. When his family moved to Lincoln, Dan retired from barbering and worked at Mahoney Golf Course. He then became the owner of Dano’s Custom Paint. He was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast.
Survived by his mother, Mary Scott; son, Chase Scully; his best friend, Dana Scully; several aunts and uncles including Carol and Joe Bowman, Wahoo, Doris Yost, Lincoln; cousins, Mona Way and her partner, David Littrell, Mike and Mark Yost. Preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Scott and cousin, Roger Way.
He will be missed by his family and many friends.
Reception one hour prior to service time at Roper and Sons.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Monday (8-22-16) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ St.

Visitation: Family will greet friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Roper and Sons.
