Dale Fredrick Rockenbach, 83, of Lincoln, passed away Monday, March 22, 2010. He was born April 26, 1926 near Eagle, NE to George & Maude (Stokes) Rockenbach. He was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walton and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Eagle. Dale began his military career in the Army in WWII. He continued to serve his country in the United States Air Force. Dale also worked and retired from the Truck Equipment Service Company.
Survivors: Sister, Donna Rengstorf; daughters & son-in-law, Sharon & Anton Gerdes, Gail Rockenbach, Kathleen Fischer; sons & daughters-in-law, Jack & Sharon Loos, Harry & Cindy Loos; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Betty, Verda, & Eva; brother, Everette; wife, Wanda; son-in-law, Kenneth Fischer.
Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 26, 2010 at Fairview Cemetery, 84th & Adams, Lincoln, NE. Closed casket visitation: Noon Thursday to Noon Friday at Roper & Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street, Lincoln, NE.
